ERN backed the efforts of this Massachusetts-focused campaign to allow statewide Ranked Choice Voting. One grant was given in 2019, and the second was provided in 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Better Boundaries Utah – 2018
Election Reformers Network supported Better Boundaries Utah’s successful campaign for Proposition 4 to end gerrymandering in the state.
FairVote – 2018
FairVote is one of the leading organizations in the country focused on reforms to make our elections more representative. ERN’s grant supported Fairvote’s advocacy for the Fair Representation Act.
League of Women Voters of Missouri – 2018
To support the Clean Missouri ballot initiative, which included campaign finance, lobbying and redistricting reforms, Election Reformers Network contributed to the voter education program of the League of Women Voters of Missouri.
League of Women Voters of Maine – 2018
The League of Women Voters of Maine has been at the forefront of the civic movement for ranked choice voting in Maine for the past decade. ERN’s grant went to support the League’s voter education activities in advance of the 2018 election, the first state-wide use of ranked choice voting in U.S. history.
Committee for Ranked Choice Voting – 2017
The Committee for Ranked Choice Voting led the successful 2016 Ranked Choice Voting referendum in Maine. ERN’s grant supported the organization’s defense of the referendum results against repeal by the state legislature.
